Targeting net-zero emissions by 2050
Sustainable practices that lighten our environmental footprint, preserve natural resources, reduce emissions, promote a circular economy, and build a cleaner and more efficient cloud infrastructure are core to how we operate globally. The Exponential Roadmap Initiative, an accredited partner of the United Nations Race to Zero, has recognized our targets to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and halve our total greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, relative to a 2020 baseline.

Sustainability initiatives at CloudWorld
-
Using less
In the CloudWorld Hub, you’ll see aisles free of carpet, digital offerings instead of printed collateral, and booths built with recyclable and reusable materials.
-
Reducing carbon
100% of event electricity at The Venetian Convention & Expo Center Spaces was powered by renewable energy. Our LEED Gold-certified venue participates in water conservation efforts and sources its energy from renewables like solar and wind.
-
Wasting less
We use compostable serviceware at meals, provide water refill stations to replace plastic bottles, and recycle badges and lanyards. We’re increasing our diversion rate each year.
-
Giving back
Leftover food and supplies are donated to non-profit organizations. Signage, vinyl, and fabric are upcycled by art programs at local schools.
-
Healthy eating
All attendees are offered nutritious, plant-based meals, and we lower our carbon footprint by eliminating beef from all menus.
-
Green learning
You’ll discover ways to use Oracle technology solutions to reduce emissions and increase efficiency at your organization.
