Hello

Is there a way from Mapviewer in OAC to connect to a non-Autonomous database using a wallet? Our data warehouse dba's are requiring TCPS connections to the db going forward which requires a wallet. All the documentation I've been reading is point your wallet file to /home on your local server or some local folder. But, OAC's is PaaS so how do you do that? I use a data connection with wallet for the RPD, so how do I tell Mapviewer to use a data connection?

    This is resolved. After working with the Spatial team at Oracle, it was discovered there is a bug in Mapviewer. This will be fixed in a future version.

    Current version with issue: 24.1.0; Build Info: 24.1.0-1984-g00c70adae

    Thanks @CP Strother-Oracle for sharing the update. Note that there will also be a change in OAC Classic (ie Answers) capability with Maps starting July 2025. This information should already be in the doc : the ability to create custom Mapviewer sources for Answers custom maps will progressively need to be disabled. If your post below is about creating a custom Map in answers, please connect back with us internally we will show you ways to work around the upcoming limitation. Thanks
