Bounce back history of deleted contacts

Any way to retrieve bounce back history with messages for deleted contacts in Eloqua?

this will help us to investigate an issue, we want to check why a contact was marked hard bounce and what was the bounce back message that was received. As per the documentation it says that Eloqua stores bounce back history. Tried using the standard reports, but its not accepting the email addrresses which are deleted.
