How to call action chain from javascript function from a layout field

Summary:

Hi Experts

I have created a custom field in the layout (dynamic) called email as shown below and on the value i want to call the JavaScript which in turn will call the action chain (I'm extending connections HCM redwood page). Here the function is not getting called, please help I'm attaching code here
