Free Tier Instance Terminated Without Warning – Need Urgent Help Recovering Data
Hello Oracle Community,
My Free Tier account was recently terminated without any warning, and I received an email stating that my Cloud Services were purged and all data deleted. However, when I log into the Oracle Cloud Console, the affected instance is still visible — it shows as “Stopped” and “Disabled”, not fully deleted.
This instance was running a MySQL database that was critical to my production app, and I used MySQL Workbench to connect remotely. Unfortunately, I didn’t back up the data, as I was relying on the instance's persistence under the Free Tier.
I did not receive any prior warnings, alerts, or usage limit breaches before this termination notice. My account was well within the Free Tier limits.
