Oracle Field Service Maintenance Accelerator Work Order Billing
Hi everyone,
We're using the Oracle Field Service Maintenance Accelerator to sync our Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs) from Fusion Maintenance to Field Service. This part works well for dispatching and completing the maintenance work.
However, we've hit a snag when it comes to billing. Once the maintenance work is completed in Field Service, there's no clear or automatic way to create a Service Order in Fusion Service specifically for billing that completed MWO.
We're actively trying to avoid using the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process for billing these maintenance work orders.
Our question is: Is there a standard or recommended way to bill for maintenance work that has been executed in Field Service, directly through a Field Service Work Order or related functionality in Fusion Service? We're looking for a solution that doesn't involve RMAs.
