OTL Timecards that are not transferred to Projects Query Performance Issue

Summary:

  • We are currently implementing an integration to bulk close contracts and projects. But before these contracts/projects are closed, our business team would like to ensure that there are no open transactions (OTL timecards, AP expenses, AP invoices, Purchase Order receipts and etc that are not yet transferred to project costing) against the projects that are about to be closed. We are using a BIP report to achieve this validation. 
    One of the queries in this custom BIP report i.e OTL timecard exceptions query is taking anywhere 
    from 4 to 6 minutes for some of the projects even though they do not have many
